The talented Storm Reid has recently been honored with an Emmy award for Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her exceptional performance in HBO's The Last of Us. The 20-year-old actress played the character Riley Abel alongside renowned actors Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.
Reid's Gratitude and Love for Storytelling
During the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Reid expressed her profound gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of The Last of Us. She shared, 'I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into when I signed on to be Riley in The Last of Us. I knew it was going to be special, but I didn’t know it was gonna be quite this special.' Reid also highlighted how her involvement in the series rekindled her love for meaningful storytelling and her passion to be a representation for young women, young Black women, and young queer Black women.
