Shannen Doherty, 52, expressed her profound gratitude during the December 25 episode of her podcast, 'Let’s Be Clear.' She emphasized the importance of cherishing time with loved ones and being thankful for those who have stood by her unconditionally.
Health Struggles and Resilience
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Doherty underwent two years of chemotherapy and achieved remission. However, in 2020, she revealed her stage IV diagnosis, and the cancer later spread to her brain and bones. Despite these challenges, she remains resilient and committed to being as honest as possible about her fight against cancer.
Personal Turmoil
In addition to her health battles, Shannen faced emotional turmoil as her 11-year marriage to Kurt Iswarienko ended. She disclosed that she learned about her husband's infidelity just before undergoing brain surgery in January. Despite the public scrutiny of her personal life, she remains steadfast in addressing the situation and seeking the truth.
Finding Strength and Hope
Shannen shared that despite the turbulent year filled with health struggles and heartbreak, she feels a sense of optimism and growth. She mentioned that she is starting to live the happiest version of herself and is looking forward to a beautiful year ahead.
