Fatal Crash Involving Greyhound Bus in North-Central Alabama

Late Monday night, a tragic incident occurred in north-central Alabama near the Tennessee border, as a Greyhound bus was involved in a fatal crash that left at least one person dead and several others injured, with one individual in critical condition.

Limestone County Coroner Mike West reported that numerous agencies were present at the scene, while the neighboring Madison County sheriff's office confirmed their involvement via a post on social media platform X.

According to Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (HEMSI) spokesperson Don Webster, the bus was en route from Montgomery, Alabama to Nashville, with a scheduled stop in Huntsville. The collision involved one other vehicle, resulting in tragic consequences.
Casualties and Injuries
Tragically, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while eight others sustained injuries. Among the injured, one person was in critical condition, three were in serious condition, and four had non-life-threatening injuries. All the injured individuals were promptly transported to hospitals for necessary medical attention.
