When Dakota Johnson returned to host Saturday Night Live in March 2015, she found herself in the midst of a minor controversy.

The Sketch in Question

During the episode, Johnson participated in a sketch that parodied a car commercial with an unexpected ISIS twist. The sketch depicted Johnson being dropped off at the airport by her father, played by Taran Killam, under the impression that she was going to join the army. However, it was revealed that she was actually leaving to join the terrorist group ISIS, leading to a humorous yet controversial moment.

Addressing the Controversy

In a recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, Johnson revisited the controversy in a new sketch. This time, the skit revolved around Johnson's character losing her bag at an airport and attempting to retrieve it with the assistance of Devon Walker and Keenan Thompson. The sketch included a line where one of the characters expresses concern about the lost bag potentially being associated with ISIS, to which Johnson's character responds incredulously.
