Bronny James made a triumphant return to his home court at the Galen Center after a 24-day absence. The Trojans secured a hard-fought 82-74 victory against California, marking only their second win in seven games.

Emotional Victory for James

For Bronny James, the win against California not only marked his first Pac-12 conference victory but also his first home win since his comeback on December 10th. His return to the court followed a four-month hiatus due to a cardiac event in late July, resulting from a congenital heart defect.

Impactful Performance

Despite playing limited minutes, James showcased his skills with an impressive 10 points, three assists, and two rebounds in just 18 minutes off the bench. Notably, he demonstrated his growing confidence, especially after his standout performance against Oregon State.

Coach's Perspective

Coach Andy Enfield emphasized the importance of James' development as a player and commended his defensive efforts, highlighting his four deflections during the game. Enfield also underscored the significance of productive bench players, acknowledging James' terrific performance.
